Horizontal Ruths' steam storage reservoir, type ZPRC

USE

Horizontal Ruths' steam storage reservoirs are devices used for heat storing in water in form of steam. They are used when raising steam source's efficiency is necessary (boiler, steam generator). Thanks to this reservoir the steam source works at more equalized load, because while instantaneous raised requirement the steam is absorbed from the steam source and the reservoir at the same time.

Horizontal Ruths' reservoirs are to work in steam systems at maximum working pressure PS = 10bar and maximum working temperature TS=200°C. The amount of the stored steam in the reservoir depends on its capacity and the defferential pressure at reservoir input and output.

RESERVOIR CONSTRUCTION

All basic reservoir elements (jacket, elipsoidal bottom head, manholes, connectors, etc.) are made of low-carbon steel – certified. Design pressure - 10bar and design temperature - 200°C cannot be exceeded while exploiting the reservoir. The storage reservoir is protected against the corrosion externally with universal primer coat.

Reservoir has internal, perforated pipe, through which steam is provided to the water space. The amount of water in reservoir shouldn't exceed 90% of its volume. In the upper part of the storage reservoir there is a dome with steam reception connector of construction which allows getting the most dry steam.
